For our Diigo activity we explored a website about Rosa Parks. I really liked this website because it was very informative and easy to read. I was also able to trust the information from this site because it was from a reliable source, the biography network. I would most definitely use this site in the future to further my knowledge.
Extreme Makeover: Slide Edition
PowerPoint slides can be dangerous thing. You must be sure to have a clean and effective slide. As a group we picked one slide from the Faith Christian Schools PowerPoint presentation and gave it a makeover. By using a simple design and easy to read font we created an effective slide on the goals of the school.
NeatChat Myth
Technology in the classroom is a touchy subject. A lot of things about it are unclear to the public, many myths have surfaced about how it is being used, and how effective it is. Our group discussed the myth "There are agreed-upon goals and 'best practices' that define how computers should be used in K-12 classrooms" in a NeatChat.
